1st Varsity Home Game

On Wednesday, December 21st, the Monadnock Varsity Hockey team had their first home game at the Keene Ice Arena. Taking on Sanborn Regional High School, the boys were eager to come back from their loss to Somersworth over the past weekend.

The Boys were also competing in their first home game as an official Varsity hockey team.

The first period was a tough fight on both sides, resulting in no score for either side. But the Huskies broke out starting in the second. Hunter Yeaton, a freshman, scored the first goal to put the Huskies on top with the assist from Chris Boucher. Dominic Dow and Caleb Dow came in later each scoring, to bring the score to 3.

Issac Jasinski held a shut out game in the goal and the defense was strong at the net as well.

The Huskies won their first Varsity home game 3-0.

They travel to the Jason Ritchie Ice Arena at Winchendon Prep to take on ConVal Regional High School on January 4th at 7 pm.

Detailed directions and address to this arena (and all away game arenas) can be found under files of the Monadnock Athletics Website as well as the hockey's team files on the website.
